The Chopping Block: Charlinda Haudley
The Chopping Block is the place where critical dialogue and challenging discourse set the stage for national change. Join in the conversation with educators and difference makers from across the country as we update bi/weekly at visceralchange.org!
Charlinda Haudley is a diversity coordinator and a doctoral student at the University of Arizona. As a professional, she ensures that campus partners are duly equipped with the tools they need to engage students at the intersections of their identities; and as a student, Charlinda focuses much of her time and attention on the needs and challenges of Native students, specifically those who are First Generation. Growing up on a Navajo Reservation, Charlinda take us on a journey of her life, opening up about the challenges, tropes and expectations of what it means to be an "urban Native" in Arizona.
